JAMES E. SENSECQUA, MD, FACC
SPECIALTIES: ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY, GENERAL CARDIOLOGY, INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGY
Dr. Sensecqua graduated magna cum laude in 1975 from Bowdoin College with an AB in Biochemistry. In 1980, he received his Medical Degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington, Vermont. He completed his internship and residency in medicine as well as his fellowship in medicine and cardiology at the University of Colorado Health Science Center in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Sensecqua also served as a Lieutenant Commander of the Medical Corps in the United States Naval Reserve.
Dr. Sensecqua is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a member of the American Medical Association, Florida Medical Association and the Lee County Medical Society. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, with a subspecialty in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology, and interventional cardiology. He is also certified by the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology with special competency in pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators.
