Denyelle received her first Bachelor of Science at Plymouth State University in 1992 in Exercise Science.

In 1997, she went on to receive a second Bachelor Degree from The University of Vermont, in Burlinghton, Vermont and is certified as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

Denyelle was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society as well as a member of the Southern Gulf Coast Nurse Practitioner Council.
